Preschool Allotment Sessions (Fully Booked)
Pre School Allotment Session – Croxley Green Parish Council
Fortnightly every Tuesday for 9 sessions. Next sessions 11th and 25th Aug, 8th and 22nd Sept.
Barton Way Allotments. Spaces are limited, so be sure to book early.
Preschool Allotment Sessions Join us for our exciting fortnightly (16th and 30th June, 14th and 28th July, 11th and 25th Aug, 8th and 22nd Sept) preschool allotment sessions, starting Tuesday 2nd June, from 1:30pm – 2:30pm. These hands-on outdoor sessions are designed especially for young children to explore nature, develop curiosity, and learn where food comes from through fun, seasonal activities.
Throughout the season, children will take part in a variety of engaging experiences, including:
Making compost
Sowing and growing vegetables
Creating a bug hotel
Learning about the life cycle of a seed
Studying pollinators and why they matter
Making fat balls for birds
Understanding the changing seasons
Harvesting what they have grown
Learning about chickens and their role on the allotment
Our sessions encourage exploration, creativity, and a love for the natural world in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Our skilled volunteers can help with a variety of repairs, including:
Small electrical items (lamps, kettles, toasters, etc.)
Furniture repairs (loose joints, minor fixes)
Bike maintenance (brakes, punctures, adjustments)
Clothing & textiles (patching, hemming, button replacements)
Basic tech fixes (software issues, minor hardware adjustments)
Toy repairs (broken parts, loose seams, minor electronic fixes)

Croxley Green Charity Dog Show 2026

Sunday 4th October .
Join us for a fun-filled day at the annual Croxley Green Charity Dog Show, returning this year at Stones Orchard, WD3.
Running from 11:00am to 4:00pm, this much-loved community event promises a fantastic day out for dog lovers, families, and local residents alike. Expect a lively atmosphere with a variety of attractions, activities, and, of course, plenty of adorable dogs competing across a range of categories.
The full schedule of events will be published two weeks prior to the show, so be sure to check back for updates and plan your day.

Time: Gather at 1:45 PM at the library forecourt on Barton Way
Parade: Begins at 2:00 PM down New Road
Service: All Saints Church at 2:30 PM
Wreath Laying Ceremony: Led by the Royal British Legion

Croxley Green Christmas Market 2026
Celebrate the festive season in style at the Croxley Green Christmas Market, taking place on Saturday 5th December at Stones Orchard, WD3.
Join us from 2:30pm to 6:00pm for a magical afternoon filled with seasonal cheer. This popular community event will feature a wonderful selection of market stalls, festive treats, local crafts, and entertainment for all ages. It’s the perfect opportunity to shop local, enjoy delicious food, and soak up the Christmas spirit with family and friends.
