The after show committee meeting. 23/10/2025
We had 83 total exhibitors, of those 30 were new exhibitors, with 500 entries, slightly down on last year’s show, we believe due to the hot weather affecting the vegetable and flowers categories.
Handicraft entries were up on last year, thank you to everyone who entered these categories, we have some great talent in Croxley, well done everyone and may it continue, the Lego category was well represented and will be a category next year.
Be great to see you all entering next year.
For your information, if you win a cup or medal, we will present that to you on stage, we ask they are returned to us as you walk off stage to enable us to get these engraved on your behalf. They then will be delivered to your home in a few weeks.
Nice to see that, Handicrafts and Scarecrow were the two categories with most entries in the history of the Show. Also Frances Gannon, was first winner of the Best in Handicrafts medal for her embroidery and her Victorian Tunnel card.

CROXLEY GREEN ANNUAL HOME & PRODUCE SHOW 2025
Congratulations and many thanks to all of you for making this year’s Show such a success and for exhibiting the skills, passions and hobbies of our wonderful Croxley Green community.
Here are some facts and figures on this year’s Show:
· 500 entries, slightly down on than last year. We had some last-minute withdrawals due to the effect of the weather on the dahlias and other flowers.
· 83 exhibitors of which 30 were new exhibitors ranging from 17months to ??. The top age doesn’t matter, those who enter our Show are all young at heart, brimming with joy and vitality.
· 31 Children’s entries as well as many who entered the adult classes (a growing and very welcome trend)
· Thank you so much for buying raffle tickets and refreshments and for donating cakes for sale. This will help us to cover some of the direct costs of the Show: hall hire, trophy engraving, judges fees and overall costs like group insurance and RHS membership.
We always value your comments on the Show in order to make improvements where possible. Thank you to those of you who have already emailed us.
Once the trophies and medals are engraved, we will be dropping them off to you. This has been completed.
If you know anyone who would like to be on our email mailing, please give them this address. And please encourage family, friends and neighbours to have a go next year.
Next year’s Show will be on Saturday 12th September 2026. We will have the new Schedule (list of exhibition items/classes) available for mailing next spring.
